Hi there,

It’s the time of the year when costumes, candy, and coughs are everywhere. With Halloween approaching and respiratory virus activity picking up, now is a great time to remind your community about the protection offered by flu, COVID-19, and RSV immunizations.

Michigan’s Chief Medical Executive, Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, recently issued a standing recommendation for health care providers to follow the American Medical Association’s recommendations for respiratory virus immunizations.

Community members may have questions about why they need a new vaccine each season, which options are available, and where to get vaccinated.

The Halloween-themed content below makes it easy to share timely vaccine information before the holiday: Use the suggested captions or add your own with local vaccination information. This content is also available in Spanish.
